Indian Railway is the biggest recruiter in India.

As you want to get a railway job so you must have to clear RRB exam.
Railway exam is classified into two sections:
Technical Cadre
Non Technical cadre

Non Technical Exam Eligibility
Candidates must have a graduation degree from recognized university.
Candidate should have knowledge of typing skills in English/Hindi.

Age Limit-
Age must be between 18 years to 30 years.
Relaxation in upper age for reserved category candidates would be as per government standard.

Technical Exam Eligibility
Candidates must have Graduation degree
or
10+2 with Physics and maths and ITI from a well recognised university.

Candidates holding Diploma or degree in Computer Networking /Data Networking / Electrician etc. will be given preference.

Age Limit-
Age must be between 18 years to 33 years.
For SC/ST candidates Relaxation of 5 years
For OBC candidates 3 years Relaxation in upper age limit.

Category of Exam:

Railway exam is classified into two Sections:

Technical Cadre:
Railway offers jobs in technical departments which include civil, technical and mechanical engineering, signalling and telecom and many others concerning with same disciplines.

Non Technical cadre:
Railway Recruitment Board organizes Civil Services exam for the hiring of non-technical posts in Grade C services like Clerk, Assistant Station Master, Ticket Collector etc.

Eligibility criteria for both cadres in detail are given below:

Technical Category :

Age limitation is between 18 years and 30 years.

Relaxation age for SC/ST candidates is 5 years and for OBC candidates 3 years.

Qualification: Any bachelor degree from any recognized University.

Non Technical Category :

Age limitation is between 18 years and 33 years.

Relaxation age for SC/ST candidates is 5 years and for OBC candidates 3 years.

Qualification: 10+2 with Physics and Maths /ITI/ Pass in 1st year B.Sc. (Physics)

Indian Railways Recruitment Selection Process :

Selection procedure of Indian railways consists of 2 processes which are-
Written test
Final Interview

Written test

Total questions: 100-120, 90 minutes

In this round there will be 100 to 120 objectives questions.
Time limit is 90 minutes
Negative is applicable for each wrong questions.

The questions paper is divided into 4 sections as following :

Quantitative skills
General awareness and as language general Hindi/general English
General arithmetic
Analytic

Final Interview

Candidate Clear the written exam, then will be Selected for the interview and then will be called for the interview by the Indian Railways recruitment authorities .
