CAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed graduation with minimum of 50% aggregate mark The candidates from SC, ST, OBC and DA category need an aggregate of 45% marks. Final year graduation students can also apply provided they can submit the graduation final marks to the institutes within the requisite time.

CAT 2014 Application fee:
Rs. 1600.

CAT 2014 Exam Pattern:
The exam consists of two sections- Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

CAT is a section wise time bound test and the duration of each section is 70 minutes making the total duration to be 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The first section for the test takers is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation with 30 questions to be answered, followed by another 30 questions under Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

For each right answer candidate scores 3 marks, and there is negative marking of 1 mark for questions answered incorrectly and 0 point for unanswered questions.

Announcement of CAT 2014 by IIMs: Last week of July, 2014
Exam Dates: October-November 2014
Sale of CAT 2014 Vouchers: August-September 2014.
Last Date of Registration: September 2014.
