Re: Common Admission Test Eligibility Criteria
CAT is the Common Admission Test conducted by the six IIMs as a national level entrance test in selecting applicants for their business administration program at the Masters level. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must obtained minimum 50% aggregate mark in graduation from any discipline from a recognized institute. Applicants from SC, ST, OBC and DA category need an aggregate of 45% marks. Final year graduation Applicants are also eligible . Pattern:- The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; The second section will focus on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. These two sections will be implemented sequentially with separate time limits. The total duration will be 2 Hr. 35 Min including the tutorial. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer. A 15-minute tutorial will be provided before the start of the test, and candidates are advised to go through that carefully before starting the main examination. The examination will be for 140 minutes.
