CDS Exam for Merchant Navy

Hello, here I am providing you the details of the CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC and it also held twice in a year:

Merchant Navy Eligibility
Candidates must have the 10 + 2 With PCM with aggregate not less than 60 %.
Candidates must have English as separate subject with at least 50 % in the 10th and 12th standard.

Merchant Navy Age Limit
20 Years

Eye Sight
6/6 with out eye glasses
No Colour Blindness.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the written exam or SSB interview.

Paper pattern:

English 2 Hours 100
General Knowledge 2 Hours 100
Elementary Mathematics 2 Hours 100

Date of CDS 2016 Exam Notification: 7th November 2015
Closing date of CDS Exam Application: 4th December month 2015
CDS 2 Exam date 2015: 1st Nov 2015
CDS 1 Exam Date 2016: 2nd week of February 2016
