Indian Maritime University conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) to take applicants for various courses. Eligibility Criteria: Diploma Nautical Science leading to B.Sc Nautical Science Applicants must pass in +2 or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry group & 50% marks in English either in class 10th or +2 Below 25 years at the time of entry. 2 Years Pre-Sea Training for Diploma Holders (DME) Applicants must pass Diploma in Mechanical /Marine / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Naval Architecture /Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks in Final year. Applicants should have obtained atleast 50% in English at 10th or 12th std. or Diploma Below 28 years at the time of entry. Courses or Programs offered by IMU Master of Technology Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering Course -2 years Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering- Bachelor of Technology -4 years LLM (Maritime Law)-2 years B.Sc Maritime Science PhD Non-residential MBA Infrastructure B Tech Marine Engineering 4 year program. MBA Logistics-2 years B.Sc Nautical Science Master of Technology Dredging & Harbour Engineering-2 years PG Diploma in Marine Engineering -1 year B Sc Ship Building and Repair - 3years MBA Port & Shipping-2 years IMU CET Examination Pattern Subjects- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, English and Aptitude. Multiple choice questions are asked in this exam. Time Duration- 180 minutes or 3 hours. Total number of questions-180. Selection Procedure: Written Test GD or PI IMU CET Exam Dates: Date of Submission: 20th May 2014 IMU CET 2014 Exam Date : 14th June, 2014 IMU CET 2014 Result Date : 18th June, 2014 |
