AFCAT has posted employment notification for the recruitment of following posts given below .

IAF Vacancy Details:
Name of the Post: Commissioned Officers
Name of the Branch:
1. Technical Branch:
a. No 197/15T/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
b. No 197/15T/PC/M (Permanent Commission)
2. Flying Branch:
a. No 198/15F/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
3. Ground Duty Branches:
a. No 197/15G/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
b. No 197/15G/PC/M (Permanent Commission)

Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants must possess Graduation in any discipline or B.E/ B.Tech with 60% marks for Flying Branch
Aspirants must possess Four year degree qualification or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India)
Aspirants age limit is 19 to 23 years for Flying Branch
20 to 23 years for Graduates
20 to 25 years for Post Graduates/LLB
18 to 28 years for Technical Branch
20 to 26 years for LLB
20 to 27 years for M.Ed/ Ph.D/ C.A/ ICWA in case of Ground Duty Branches as on 01-07-2015.

Selection Process:
Aspirants will be selected based on the performance in AFCAT & Engineering Knowledge Test which is followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Test and Interview
Applicants applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).

Starting Date for Submission of Online form Applications: 07-06-2014.
Last Date for Submission of form Online Applications: 03-07-2014.
Date of AFCAT Exam: 31-08-2014 (Sunday).
