Combined Defense Services examination is taken by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. Important Dates: Date of Notification:- 18.07.2015 Last date for receipt of applications:- 14.08.2015 (FRIDAY) Date of commencement of Examination:- 01.11.2015 (SUNDAY) CDS Entrance Exam Details CDS I Notification and Exam Dates CDS Exam or Combined Defence Service Examination is an exam conducted twice every year by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It is an exam to induct officers into the Indian Defence Forces i.e. the Army and the Airforce.
