UPSC Exam:The Indian Civil Services examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year. The examination calendar is publicizing during December-January after which the selection is done in 3 stages. Candidates must have cleared every stage through a route of elimination.

Course Eligibility:

Nationality
For the Indian Civil Service, a candidate must be:
• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan

Age Limit:
A candidate must have got the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August of the year of examination.

Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from recognized college or university.
The candidate should be physically and medically capable.

Number of attempts:
Every candidate has permitted Six attempts at the examination.

Admission Deadlines:
• Notification of Examination: November/December of previous year

• Conduct of Examination: May

Union Public Service Commission conducts Civil Services Examination for recruitment to various services and posts.
.
UPSC Civil Services Exam eligibility-

Degree of any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament.

Age criteria-

Age must be between 21 years to 32 years.
For SC/ ST category the upper age limit is relaxable up to five years and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Nationality-

The candidates should be the citizens of India for the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service.

Number of attempts-

The candidates can apply to a maximum of six times.
The candidates belonging to OBC category can apply for a total of nine times.
The restriction on the number of attempts will not apply in case of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates.

Tentative Important Dates –

Preliminary Exam: 24th August 2014
Mains Exam: (Tentative) December 2014

Selection Process-

The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages-

Preliminary Examination (Objective type) comprising 2 exams-
General Studies and CSAT
Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)

As you want I am here providing you the detail of UPSC Civil Services Exam Eligibility.

Eligibility criteria:

Age limit:
21-30 years

Certain categories of persons are eligible for age relaxation.

Qualification:

Graduation Degree of a Recognized University or equivalent.

Applicant appearing in the requisite Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination.

Nationality:
a Citizen of India, or
a subject of Bhutan,
or a subject of Nepal, or
a Tibetan refugee

Number of attempts:

General category :six times.
OBC category :nine times.
No restriction: in case of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates.

Yes, you can appear in UPSC exams

UPSC stands for Union Public Services Commission and it is conducts various examinations every year,

Eligibility for UPSC Exams:
Must have graduation degree from recognized University

Final year candidates of graduation degree can also apply for this examination

UPSC conducted these examinations every year
Civil services examination
National Defence Academy examination
Combined Defence Academy examination
SCRA Examination
IES(Engineering services examination)
IFS(Indian Forest Examination)
IES/ISS Examination
Central Armed Police Force examination

As you are graduate then you can apply for Civil services, CDS, IES examinations

Here I am providing the information regarding the Eligibility criteria required for various exams conducted by Union Public Service Commission which you are looking for .

Combined Medical Services Examination---
Candidates appearing at the final M.B.B.S. Examination also eligible to
compete subject to certain conditions.
Selected candidates will be appointed only after they have completed compulsory rotating internship.

(i) For IMA and OTA :- Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) For Naval Academy :- Degree in Engineering
(iii) For Air Force Academy :- Degree of a recognised University
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination---
Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent
examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Engineering Services Examination---
Candidates appearing at Engineering degree or equivalent examination also
eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Indian Forest Service Examination---
Candidates appearing at the degree examination (with prescribed subjects)
also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam---
Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of
School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.
