Eligibility For UPSC CDS Exam

I have completed graduation degree and now want to apply for the UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination so please tell me about the minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for this exam? Also tell me about the age limit of this exam?

Combined Defence Service (CDS) Exam is conducted by UPSC for admission Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian naval Academy and Indian Air Force academy.

Eligibility Details for the exam:
Age-limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

Educational Qualifications:
IMA & OTA Graduation Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
Naval Academy B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or BE/ B.Tech
Air Force Academy B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or BE/ B.Tech

Candidates in the final year of their qualifying examination can also apply for it.

Exam Pattern:
Written Examination
(a) For Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy
1. English (Objective type) 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge (Objective type) 100 Marks
3. Elementary Mathematics (Objective type) 100 Marks
Total 300 Marks

(b) For Officers’ Training Academy
1. English 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge 100 Marks
Total 200 Marks

Marks for SSB Interviews
IMA, NA and AFA 300 marks
OTA 200 Marks
