Navy after 12th pcm

Hi I have completed 12th PCM with 58% now how can I apply to join Indian Navy?

Ok, if you want to join Indian Navy after 12th with PCM then you have to clear NDA exam. NDA (National Defence Academy) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission-UPSC twice in a year to recruit the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defence Academy.

NDA exam eligibility-

For Army wing of National Defence Academy:

Passed 12th of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy-

Passed 10+2 educational level with physics and mathematics subjects. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class of school education or equivalent can also apply.

Physical Standards:

Candidates must be physically fit and medically according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

NDA exam Paper pattern:

The written exam consists of two papers:

Paper I- Mathematics: 300
Paper II- General Ability Test: 600

The General Ability Test consists of:

Part A- English: 200
Part B- General Knowledge: 400

All the question papers are objective (multiple choice) type.
There will be negative marking for every wrong answer.
The candidates are supposed to use black ball pens only.
Paper I - Mathematics and Part B of Paper II question papers are available in both English and Hindi.
SI units will be used in the papers and candidates should use only international form of Indian numerals (i.e. 1, 2, 3,4,5,6 etc.) while answering question papers.

You can join navy after completing 12th with PCM through NDA exam

NDA is the National Defence Academy, this exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year

Eligibility for NDA Exam:-
Must have passed Class 12/intermediate from a recognized board with subjects of Physics and Mathematics

Age limit:
• Candidates age should be between 16 ½ and 19 ½ years

NDA Syllabus:-
The exam will be divided into papers i.e.
Paper I (Mathematics)
Paper II (General Ability Test).

General Ability Test will be further divided into two parts that include English and General Knowledge.

Syllabus for all the mentioned subjects are given below:-
•Mathematics:- Algebra, Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of Two & Three Dimensions, Different Calculus, Integral Calculus & Different Equations, Vector Algebra and Statistics & Probability.

•English: - The English paper will be designed to test students’ proficiency in the languages with verbal reasoning and usage of grammar.

•General Knowledge: - The GK paper will include subjects like Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and

•Current Events. For all the mentioned subjects in the paper, the syllabus will be from 10+2 level.
