Indian Navy after Passing 12th

Can you tell me the process or eligibility required to join Indian Navy after passing 12th as I want to take admission in it?

Exam for NDA - National Defence Academy is conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to its three wings i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

Eligibility Criteria:-

One must be an Indian citizen.

The minimum age is 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years.

There is no upper age relaxation for the any other categories.

Unmarried Male

Passed 12th or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as the core subjects from a recognized board

Gender:
Only unmarried male are eligible for the exam.

Girls are not eligible for the exam.

Vision standards for naval candidates

-The applicant must have an uncorrected vision of 6/9 and a corrected vision of 6/6
-Myopia should not be more than -0.75 and hypermetropia should not be more than +1.5D
-The applicant must have binocular vision of III
-The Limit set of Color perception is I

Selection process for NDA recruitment –
Written Test, Physical Test, Medical Test and Personal Interview.

SSB conduct this process in SSB center

After qualify the written test, there will be a personal interview and based on the performance one will be selected.
