IAS Exam Eligibility for OBC
Hello sir I Am OBC candidate and I want to give Indian Administrative Service exam so would you please tell me what is the eligibility criteria for OBC candidates for this exam???

Indian Administrative Services Exam (IAS) exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year in the month of May to select the candidates in the Central Government and its various departments. IAS Exam Eligibility Age Limits: Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and the upper age limit is 35 for SC/ST, 33 for OBC and 30 for unreserved candidates The upper age limit prescribed upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Educational Qualifications: Applicants must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Applicants having professional and technical qualifications recognized by the government are also eligible. Applicants who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical degree Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination. Nationality: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India. or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. These candidates will not be eligible for appointment to the Indian Foreign Service. Upper age limit for General category: 32 years. Upper age limit for OBC: 35 years. Upper age limit for SC/ST: 37 Years. Upper age limit for Defense Services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof: 35 years. Upper age limit for Ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service: 37 years. Upper age limit for blind, deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped persons (general category): 42 years.
