Eligibility Criteria For JEXPO
I want all information about the JEXPO Examination. Which organization conducts this exam and for what purpose conducted? What are the minimum educational criteria for the JEXPO Exam? I am in class 12th; can I appear in this Exam after 12th pass? Provide me its information brochure of this year examination.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) is administered by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (annually) for the admission, of suitable applicants, to first year diploma courses. Those who have passed seconfary or any other equal examination with Mathematics, Physical Science and English as subjects are entitled to apply. JEXPO score can be used to pursue admission in reputed polytechnics of West Bengal like Central Calcutta Polytechnic, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Polytechnic, I.C.V Polytechnic and Kingston Polytechnic College. Eligibility Criteria for Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) Applicant must be an Indian citizen who should have passed HSC examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or from other equivalent Board/Council. Applicants must have studied Mathematics, Physical Science and English as subjects under HSC and their age must be below 21 years. SC/ST students can assume 3 year age relaxation in the case. Exam Pattern for Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) is conducted in objective mode. Questions will be from subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Total time allotted for the test is 4 hours (Mathematics — 2 hours, Physics & Chemistry – 2 hours). The test carries 200 marks. Maximum marks allotted for the section of Mathematics is 100 and that for Physics and Chemistry is 100. |
