Hey buddy the Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS) IAS Eligibility A degree of graduation in any stream from any recognized University recognized by the University grants Commission as lay down by the Parliament and the Legislature. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination and are waiting for the result are also eligible to apply provided they submit the certificate of qualification along with the mark sheet to the UPSC in the DAF before the Main Exam. The candidates must be aged between 21 years to 32 years of age The candidates will be applicable for the age limit relaxation as prescribed the GOI. Nationality: For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India. For other services, a candidate must be either :— a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, Exam pattern A. Preliminary Examination The Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200marks each. B. Main Examination The written examination will consist of the following papers: Qualifying Papers: Paper : A - (One of the Indian Language to be selected by the candidate from the Languages included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution). 300 Marks Paper : B English 300 Marks |
