I want to apply for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam so please tell me the details about the eligibility criteria required to sit in the IAS exam? Also tell me is there any age limit to apply for this exam, than also provide me the details of it?

Hey as The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission

Qualification required

Candidate should have A degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be a Deemed University under the UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification.

Age limit

For General candidates - 21 to 30 years.

For Other Backward Class candidates - 21 to 33 years.

For Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates - 21 to 35 years.

Number of attempts

For General 4

For OBC 7

For SC/ST No Limit
