Here are some of the important dates for this year exam-

Online Application availability: From March 15, 2014 till April 5, 2014 (10 am to 10 pm)

Offline Application availability: From March 15, 2014 till April 5, 2014

Receipt of Confirmation Page (both online & offline) Applications: April 7, 2014 till 5 pm

Test Date of 2014: April 20, 2014

Result: May end 2014.

Eligibility for the program-

Candidates should have cleared their graduation examination with an aggregate score of 50% or more. They should also have a 2 year diploma in special education (D.Ed).

OR
A Graduation degree and 2 years course in BTC/CT (Nur)/ NTT, that is approved by NCTE.

Candidates should have A Graduation degree and BTC training from UP, that also should be approved by NCTE.

Candidates who also have a 4 year diploma in elementary education will also be considered eligible to appear in the UPTET.

The paper consists of two papers of 150 questions each and are multiple choice in nature.

In UPTET 2014, there will be two tests;

One is Paper 1 for Primary Teachers and other is Paper 2 for Upper Primary Teachers.
