NTPC Assistants Chemist Trainee (ACT) Written Test Pattern: NTPC ACT Test will be conducted in online mode. Duration of the Test – 2 hours No. of questions (objective type multiple choice) – 150 (Chemistry – 120 & General Aptitude – 30) Each question carries 1 mark. There is negative marking for wrong answers. ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. NTPC Assistants Chemist Trainee (ACT) syllabus: A. Physical Chemistry Atomic Structure States of Matter Chemical Thermodynamics Chemical and ionic Equilibrium Redox Reactions Phase equilibria & Solutions Electrochemistry Chemical Kinetics Surface Chemistry Nuclear Chemistry B.
