What will be the age limit criteria for IAS, IPS?
I want to give the exams of IAS and IPS and for that I want to get the details of what will be the age limit criteria for IAS, IPS so can you provide me that?

As you want to get the details of what will be the age limit criteria for IAS, IPSso here it is for you: Nationality: A candidate must be either :— a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed 30 years Candidates will be given 10 years relaxation for those who are physically handicapped Minimum Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed graduation from any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India Number of Attempts: General: 4 OBC: 7 SC and ST: No Limit Scheme of CS (Preliminary) Examination The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type (multiple-choice questions) carrying a maximum of 400 marks. Both IAS and IPS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service IPS stands for Indian Police Service Both the exam has same eligibility criteria Age limit Age should be between 21 to 30 years as on 1st August of the year of examination. Educational qualification: Must have passed graduation degree from a recognized university Number of attempts: For General: 4 times For OBC: 7 times For SC/ST: Till 35 yrs of age Civil service Prelims Pattern and Syllabus The prelims will consist of two papers common to all. General Studies Paper I Maximum marks : 200 Number of Questions : 100 Total Time : 120 minutes (02 hours) Syllabus 1. Current events of national and international importance 2. History of India and Indian national movement 3. Indian and World Geography – physical, social, economic geography of India and the world 4. Indian Polity and governance – Constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc. 5. Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc. 6.
