You can Join Indian air force by these modes namely NDA, CDS and AFCAT Exam.

Age Limit

For NDA:
Minimum age: 16.5
Maximum age: 19

Qualification:
The applicant should have Pass 12th.

For CDS:
Minimum age: 19
Maximum age: 23

Qualification:
The applicant should have a bachelors degree.

For AFCAT:
Flying Duty:
Age Limit : 19 to 23 year

Technical Duty:
Age Limit: 18 to 28 year

Administration & Logistic Scheme:
Age Limit:
20 to 23 year

Account Scheme:
Age Limit:
20 to 25 year

Education Scheme:

Hello buddy as you want here weprovide you eligibility criteria for AFCAT as
follows

EligibilityCriteria

01. Flying Branch

Age:

20 to 24 years and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA

(Indian) is relaxable upto 26 years

(b) Educational Qualifications:

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained
minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have
passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech degree (4 year
course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate
in all papers put together

Candidates who have failed the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) in an
earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force
Academy will not be eligible to apply

02. Technical Branch

Age:

20 to 26 years as on

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) AE (L):

Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have
undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized
university or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate membership
examination of the institute of electronics and telecommunication engineers
by actual studies

All candidates applying for AE (L) branch should have scored a minimum of
60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together

Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) AE (M):

Candidates applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they have
undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized
university or cleared Section A and B examination

03. Ground Duty Branch

Age:

20 to 26 years

Administration and Logistics:

Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any disciplines with
a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post
Graduate Degree/equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of
50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together

Accounts:

Graduate Degree in Commerce (B.Com) (Minimum three year degree course)
with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or
Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com) /CA/ICWA with a minimum of
50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together

Education:

Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in
aggregate of all papers put together

Physical Standards

Height and Weight:

Minimum height - Men & Femal 157.5 Cms with correlated weight

All other medical criteria would be evaluated by the Air Force Medical
Authorites whose decision on the fitness would be final
