Re: What Is Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test is a standardized test administered by the College Board and cosponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in the United States

Yes for high school admission you may attend Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test.
Students register for the exam through high schools which are members of the College Board.

The test is composed of four sections: two Math Sections, Critical Reading, and Writing Skills, and takes two hours and ten minutes to complete.

f the student takes the test in the 11th grade, the scores from the PSAT/NMSQT are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

The scores are also good indicators of how the student will perform on college entrance exams such as the SAT.
