Re: Tips to prepare for IAS
The Indian Administrative Service (abbreviated as IAS) is the premier administrative civil service of the Government of India. Hey buddy the 2 months period is little less time to prepare for the IAS exam at leat you need the 3 months to get te preparation well but no worries below I am giving you some tips which will definitely help you Never go through any book on the eve of examination. Don't read any new topic. Don't get engaged with any confusing question or problem as your prior investment (with studies) will only bring dividends to you. Do not loose your confidence Always rely on yourself prepared notes. Go through your short notes rigorously. Prepare out short notes of important topics with relevant points and just before the examination rely solely on it. Always rely on revisions. Take a good sleep on the eve of examination. It is most important for your brilliant performance. Focus on ecology, environment, art and culture: A large number of questions come from ecology, environment and art & culture. These areas should be prepared in detail from the best available sources. Solve mock test papers: You should attend mock tests and solve previous year papers. This will increase the accuracy and speed significantly. It also helps in picking out the most appropriate option in the exam. Get your basics clear In the changed pattern, the stress is more on the concept clarity rather than simply mugging up the data. |
