To crack the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) examination you should start your preparation as earlier as you can do. You should understand the complete syllabus. Following are some tips which will help you in cracking the exam: Choose the right optional subject Get the right study material Solve all the example questions! Fresh mind before preparation and during the last minutes in exam! Time management! Try solving past year's question papers so that you have an idea of what to expect Develop the habit of reading the newspaper regularly Solve as much previous year papers as you can Refer to basic grammar books to clear the concepts Avoid cramming rather understand Remove the fear within you Do not lose hope Spend one quality hour everyday!
