The Bank PO written exam generally covers following topics:

English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc)
General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
Data Analysis and Interpretation
Reasoning

Here are some tips which will help you in cracking the exam:

Revise your basic grammar skills by referring to Grammar Book
Study from a recent general knowledge book
Prepare for Data Analysis and Interpretation by practicing calculations and increasing your speed
Practice various types of puzzles and analogies to prepare
Practice as many sample papers, model papers and previous year papers as possible.
