TCS interview selection procedure:

The selection procedure of TCS consists of following 3 rounds:

• Written Test- (aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability)
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

Time Limit: 80 minutes
Negative Mark : 1/3

• Coding and decoding

• C++, java, OS, DBMS
• Numbers
• Permutation and combination
• Average
• Geometry
• Simple equations
• Practice more reasoning questions

Technical Interview:

In Technical Interview question will be asked on the basis of your college project, computer languages and others.

Usually asked Technical Questions:

• What is SLIP (Serial Line Interface Protocol)?
• WAP to swap two variables with XOR ing of two variables r) What are ranges of int, unsigned int, float,long ?
• Five queries and also about normalization, anomalies, ACID properties, joins.
• Is jsp is a language? Justify
• What are DDks? Name an operating system that includes this feature.
• What are the types of Collision Resolution Techniques and the methods used in each of the type?
• Basics like joins, normalization, sorting, etc....
• Differences between C and Java?
• What has triggered the need for multitasking in PCs?
