Here I am giving you information about exam pattern for entrance examination organized by national institute of fashion technology below :

There are two exam mode :
Computer Based Test ( CBT ) ( for B.F.Tech. M.F.M. and M.F.Tech only ).
Paper Based Test ( PBT ) ( for all courses ).

there is four round for entrance examination these are as followings.
GAT (General Ability Test)
CAT (Creative Ability Test)
GD (Group Discussion)
Interview

General Ability Test ( GAT ) for Bachelor of Design ( B.DES. ) and Master of Design ( M.DES. ) :
This test will comprise of various section as given below :
Quantitative Ability
Communication Ability
English Comprehension
Analytical Ability
General Knowledge and Current Affairs

General Ability Test ( GAT ) for Bachelor of Fashion Technology ( B.F.Tech. ), Master of Fashion Management ( M.FM ), Master of Design ( M.Des. ) and Master of Fashion Technology ( M.F. Tech. ) :

This test will comprise of various section as given below :
Quantitative Ability
Communication Ability and English Comprehension
Analytical and Logical Ability
General Knowledge and Current Affairs

National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam directed by NIFT every year in the month of February for admission to following give graduate and post graduate programme:

B.Des. Accessory Design
B.Des. Fashion Communication
B.Des. Apparel Production
Master Programs
M.Des. ( Master of Design )
M.F.M. ( Master of Fashion Management )
M.F.Tech. ( Master of Fashion Technology )
B.Des. Fashion Design
B.Des. Knitwear Design
B.Des. Leather Design
B.Des. Textile Design

Eligibility

Undergraduate Courses:-

Age: - 17 to 23 years of age

Educational Qualification: - Applicants must have pass +2 level of any recognized Board

NIFT Postgraduate Courses:-
Age:- There is no age limit for NIFT Postgraduate courses.

Educational Qualification: - Applicants must have obtained a Undergraduate Degree/ Undergraduate Diploma/ Diploma/ B.F.Tech/B.E./ B.Tech

Exam Pattern:

The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the applicants for the programme opted.

Each right answer will be awarded 1 mark.

There is no negative marking.

Questions will be asked on basics topics such as General Mental Ability, Communication Skills, Composition, Creativity, Drawing Skills, and Sensitivity to Environment and Subjects of Design.

Online Registration was begin from ---November 10, 2014 to January 10, 2015

Last date for Online Registration was January 10, 2015

Last date for online registration with late fee of Rs.5000/- was 16th January, 2015 January 16, 2015

For any single programme applicant may appear for the test on

Declaration of Final Result (Online) End of May / June 2015

Counselling June 2015 onwards
