No need to worry I will let you details of Physical Efficiency Test, for RPF Constable post so that it would be easy for you to apply at RRB Chennai. Here is the details of exam. PMT ( Physical Measurement Test ) Sex UR/OBC Category SC/ST Category Hillman Category Male Height in cms. 165 160 163 Chest in cms. Unexpanded – 80 Unexpanded – 76.2 Unexpanded – 80 Expanded – 85 Expanded – 81.2 Expanded – 85 Female Height in cms. 157 152 155 PET ( Physical Efficiency Test ) Events Sex 1600 m. race 800 m. race 100 m. race High Jump Long Jump Shot put ( Wt. 16 lbs ) Male 5 min. 45 sec. NA NA 3 ft. 9 inch 14 ft. NA Female NA 3 min. 40 sec. NA 3ft. 9 ft. NA Instructions Two chances will be given for Long jump, High Jump & Shot put but there will be only one chance to clear any of the race event . There will not PET ( Physical Efficiency Test ) for a Ex-serviceman but they have to pass through measurement test . Only those candidates who qualify the written examination, shall be called for physical tests . For the sake of convenience. 1600 meters/800 meters run will be held first. Applicants qualifying in these events will take part in the remaining events of PET. Height and Chest of those who qualify in the PET will be measured next. Applicants who fail in any of the events of the PET or in Physical Measurement Test either in height or chest will be declared fail and shall be escorted out of the venue after putting an indelible ink mark on the index finger of the left hand. Their call letters will not be returned. PET will be held at a place and on a date decided by the respective Nodal Chief Security Commissioner. The applicants will be informed of the same in advance.
