The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) conducts recruitment to the Posts of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) Chennai. The cut off for ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) Post 2014 is as follows:

Assistant Loco Pilot Eligibility

Educational:

Matriculation & Course completed Act Apprenticeship Industrial Training Institute approved National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in the Trades (Fitter / Electrician / Instrument Mechanic / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Electronics Mechanic / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Wireman / Tractor Mechanic / Armature & Coil Winder / Mechanic Diesel / Heat Engine / Turner / Machinist / Refrigeration & AC Mechanic);

Or

Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Automobile Engineering recognized by the Industrial Training Institute / All India Council for Technical Education.

However, one with Higher educational qualification in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Automobile Engineering recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education is also eligible to apply.

Age Limit:
One must have completed minimum 18 years but must not exceed 30 years of age as on the officially cut-off date.
