The Central Selection Board conducts the examination for the positions of Sub-Inspectors in the Executive Branch and Fire Service Branch along with Constables in the Railway Protection Force ( RPF ).

Railway Protection Force Sub Inspector exam details are as given below:

Pay Scale:
5500 – 175 – 9000 with usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees, from time to time

Eligibility :
The candidates who are citizens of India and have passed graduation or equivalent from a recognized University can apply.

Age:
The candidates must not be less than 20 years and not more than 25 years of age as on 01st January 2008 except that-
Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST candidates.

03 years for Other Backward Class
Candidates subject to following conditions

Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the following examinations- Written Examination, PET (Physical Endurance Test), Skill Test and Interview/ Personality Tests respectively held for all the eligible candidates on the dates as specified for this purpose.

Dates for Registration:

Opening Date for Applications: 9th April 2014

Closing Date for Applications: 11th April 2014; before 05:00 pm

Closing Date for Applications (for remote candidates): 18th April 2014

Date of Exam:

Paper I: 22nd June 2014

Paper II: 21st September 2014

Education:
Candidate need to pass graduation degree in any discipline form recognized university.

Nationality:
Candidate need to citizen of India.

Age limit:

Candidate age should be between 20 years to 25 years.

Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years
