Chhattisgarh State Services conducts recruitment examination for the post of food inspector.


Eligibility:
You should be a graduate with chemistry as one of the subject or is a graduate in Agriculture or public Health or Pharmacy or in vaterinary Science or a graduate in food technology or Dairy Technology

Age Limit:
21 years to 28 years/ 20 years/ 45 year

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts APPSC Drug Inspector Exam for recruitment to the posts of drug inspector in state government service.

Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:
Must possess Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from an University established in India by Law.

Age Limit:
Candidates who aged between 18 and 36 years of age are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:
For SC/ST and BCs - 5 Years

Syllabus:-

GENERAL STUDIES & MENTAL ABILITY

1. General Science – Contemporary developments in Science and Technology and their implications including matters of every day observation and experience, as may be expected of a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.

2. Current events of national and international importance.

3. History of India – emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, cultural and political aspects with a focus on Andhra Pradesh National Movement.

4. World Geography and Geography of India with a focus on AP.

5. Indian polity and Economy – including the country’s political system- rural development – Planning and economic reforms in India.

6. Mental ability – reasoning and inferences.

7. Disaster Management (Source : CBSE Publications) Concepts in disaster management and vulnerability profile of India / State of A.P.Earth quakes / Cyclones / Tsunami / Floods / Drought – causes and effects. Man made disasters - Prevention strategies. Mitigation strategies / Mitigation measures.

The Drug Inspector Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year for the post of Drug Inspector under the central government organizations

Eligibility for Exam:
Candidate must have a degree in Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Medicine with at least 45% marks from recognized university

The candidates having specialization in the following subjects shall be preferred: Pharmacology/ Microbiology respectively for this purpose.

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years work experience in the field of manufacturing/ testing of drug

Exam Pattern:
There will be two papers of objective type multiple choice questions on the following major topics:

Paper I: Pharmacy
Total Marks Allotted: 200
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours

Paper II: General Knowledge
Total Allotted Marks: 50
Duration of Exam: 1 Hour
