Presidency University, Kolkata offer admission to Post-Graduate Programs through an Entrance Exam - PUMDET - which is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB)


Eligibility Criteria for Presidency University PG Admission Test PUMDET


One must be a citizen of India


One who has passed or appearing B.A. (Hons) / B.Sc. (Hons) final examination from any recognized University, is eligible to apply for and appear in PUMDET.


One must have Economics as Hons./major subject with 50% marks

Pattern of Question Papers

The medium of tests will be English except for vernacular subjects like Hindi and Bengali.

In every subject, all questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions.

There will 50 questions in each paper, full marks 100 and time 90 minutes.
