Established in 1817, Presidency University is a public state university situated in Kolkata, West Bengal which offers undergraduate, postgraduate as well as doctoral degree programs.

For admission to various Post Graduate courses offered by the Presidency, WBJEE Board will conduct common entrance examination i.e. PUMDET 2018.

The university offers admission to the following PG programs:

Eligibility:

The candidate should have passed BA Honours in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks (55% FOR APPLIED ECONOMICS) from a recognized university are eligible to appear in PUMDET-2018

The candidates who have completed BA Honours in the concerned subject with minimum 5.5 CGPA (6 FOR APPLIED ECONOMICS) from Presidency University are eligible for admission without any entrance test.
