Qualification for EAMCET exam

As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria of Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test so here is the information of the same for you: AP EAMCET 2015 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should be of Indian Nationality. Persons of India Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders are allowed provided they meet the specified criteria. Candidates must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy the Local or Non-Local status – as per the requirements of the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions order, 1974. Candidates must have passed Intermediate Exam or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects along with the Bio-Technology or Chemistry or Biology as the optional subjects. Candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category) to meet the Eligibility Criteria of AP EAMCET 2015. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. AP EAMCET 2015 Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern of AP EAMCET 2015 will be based on three subjects namely Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. AP EAMCET 2015 wil comprise of 160 questions in total from which 80 will be of Mathematics, 40 of Chemistry and the last 40 of Physics. Each question will be of one mark. All these questions will be of objective type. AP EAMCET 2015 Selection Procedure: Candidates will be given admissions on the basis of the scores in AP EAMCET 2015. One must have compulsorily studied Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering as an optional subject. One who has qualified any other exam recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana will also deemed eligible to appear for the entrance test. OR One who has passed or are in their final year of Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana will also be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET. Age Criteria One must have completed 17 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limitation. |
