IBPS PO Bsc
I have completed B.Sc and I applied for the IBPS PO exam and for preparation of this exam I want the exam pattern, syllabus and the previous year question papers of IBPS PO exam? also suggest me the best authors of the books for the preparation of this exam?

Yes, BSc degree holder is eligible to apply for IBPS PO (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer) Post examination. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2020 Nationality One must be either - A Citizen of India or A Subject of Nepal or A Subject of Bhutan or A Tibetan Refugee who came to India prior to January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Check IBPS PO Exam Centers One belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) should possess and produce, whenever asked by IBPS, a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. Educational Qualification The eligibility criteria are a Graduation Degree in any of the streams such as BA, B.Com, BSc, B. Tech, etc., from a University recognized by the Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at the time of registration for the IBPS Bank-PO examination. Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is a must as the exam is conducted online. Language Proficiency: One should have verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT. One should be able to read, write and speak the language. Age Eligibility 20 - 30 Years Category Age Relaxation Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) 5 years Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years Persons with Disabilities (PWD) 10 years Ex-Servicemen (Army personnel) 5 years Widows/Divorced Women 9 years Persons with Domicile of Jammu &Kashmir during the period of 1-1-1980 to 31-12-1989 5 years Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years IBPS PO Exam Pattern IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern The IBPS PO preliminary examination is of one-hour duration and is conducted online. It has 3 sections with having 100 questions in total with a maximum score of 100 marks. There is negative marking as 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. One must clear the sectional cut-off to qualify for the IBPS PO Main exam. IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern The IBPO PO Mains exam is held online. The exam will have 5 sections and the time limit for attempting each of the five sections is different, but the total time duration is 180 minutes for objective and 30 minutes for descriptive. One must attempt the sections in the same order and within the allotted time fixed by the examining body. One can’t leave the existing section before the time allotted. The next section can only be attempted after the current section is completed. There is a negative marking with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every mistake. |
