I want to tell you that from the year of 2013 Punjab Medical Entrance Test has been discontinued and it has been replaced by National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG)

NEET UG 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed class 12th with minimum of 50% (General), 40% (SC/ST), 45% (Differently able) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.

NEET 2014 Exam pattern:
The NEET UG 2014 exam is a 3 hour exam wherein the candidates have to answer a single paper consisting of 180 objective type questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Every question has an equal weight age of 4 marks for a right answer and a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

NEET 2014 application fee:
The application fee for NEET UG 2013 was Rs. 1000 for candidates belonging to general/OBC categories and Rs. 550 for those belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.

Late fees for this exam is Rs 1000

NEET 2014 important dates (Tentative):

Date of Examination, NEET (UG): First week of May 2014
Schedule for submission of application forms without late fee: First week of December 2013 to last week of December 2013

Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE: First week of January 2014
Schedule for submission of online application forms with late fee Rs.1000/-: First week of January 2014 to end of January 2014

Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE for the applications submitted late with fee of Rs.1000: First week of February 2014

Yes PMET test is online test this test will be conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. This test will be conducting for the admission in govt. and private medical and dental college those who are affiliated by Baba Farid University.

In BFU affiliated approx 8 Medical Colleges & 14 dental colleges.
Admission in Medical College’s basis of Class 12 Marks and also the admission will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in PMET

Age:
Candidate must have attained an age of 17 years for admission

Applying process:

You should required to fill the Common Application Form for all the Undergraduate courses available Online
After that you can click on for PMET Application Form
This process of making an application for admission in various courses during admission and admission has been made ONLINE.

Application fee:

General and Backward Class candidates- Rs. 5000
SC/ST candidates- Rs. 2500

Selection process:

The result of PMET shall be declared Rank-wise, Roll No. wise and category wise.
According to Baba Farid University for admission to MBBS/BDS Course, you have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in PMET. (40% in case of SC/BC Categories)
