Procedure to Become IRS Officer
Hi! Myself Rohit and I have done my B.Tech in IT branch. Now I want to become IRS officer. Would you please grant me guidance for it ??

IRS: IRS stands for INDIAN REVENUE SERVICES. The person who hold the duty of having ensure on the good set of the profits during excise of the Governments called IRS officer. Age criteria: The candidate must have completed the age of 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date. Candidate should be citizen of India or Bhutan or Nepal. Eligibility: Graduation from recognized university. TESTS: Union Public Service Commission conducts civil service test for recruiting candidates to IRS. To become an IRS officer, candidate must appear in this exam. This Exam is called Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT). When Candidates cleared this exam, he would be eligible to do main exam and who qualify the main exam be supposed to attend an interview that would be conducted by the concerned authority. Candidates who passed interview can become an IRS officer. |
