As you want to become Army officer so you can make entry in army by two methods: 1. NDA (National Defence Academy) 2. CDS (Combined Defence Services) Eligibility Criteria: For NDA Exam: Candidates must have Completed 12th from recognized board. Students who are appearing in 12th can also apply for it. Age limit: Age should be between 17 to 19 yrs For CDS Exam Candidate must have graduation degree from a recognized University. Age limit: Age must be between 21 yrs to 23 yrs |

Indian Army Officer Job is one of the prestigious jobs in the country. It is a career that offers vast services, an honoured lifestyle. The 2 major parts of work in the army forces are divided under the Fighting Forces and the Support Services. A career in the Army will train you to face the toughest of occasions in life. A contender has 2 options available to join on a Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission. In permanent commission applicants can work until their retirement. Short-service commission tenure is for 4 to 5 years, after which the applicants may decide to continue the job or not.
