As you want to become Army officer so you can make entry in army by two methods:

1. NDA (National Defence Academy)
2. CDS (Combined Defence Services)

Eligibility Criteria:

For NDA Exam:
Candidates must have Completed 12th from recognized board.
Students who are appearing in 12th can also apply for it.

Age limit:
Age should be between 17 to 19 yrs


For CDS Exam
Candidate must have graduation degree from a recognized University.

Age limit:
Age must be between 21 yrs to 23 yrs

Indian Army Officer Job is one of the prestigious jobs in the country.
It is a career that offers vast services, an honoured lifestyle.

The 2 major parts of work in the army forces are divided under the Fighting Forces and the Support Services.

A career in the Army will train you to face the toughest of occasions in life. A contender has 2 options available to join on a Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission.

In permanent commission applicants can work until their retirement.
Short-service commission tenure is for 4 to 5 years, after which the applicants may decide to continue the job or not.

To be in the Indian Army you can give some qualifying exams like

Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
Combined Defence Service Examination
I.A.F. Airman Education Instructors Trade Examination
I.A.F. Airman Non-Technical Trade Examination
Indian Army Soldier General Duty (N.E.R.) Examination
Indian Army Soldier Nursing Assistants (M.E.R.) Examination
Indian Army Soldier Technical (M.E.R.) Examination
National Defence Academy Examination (NDA)

After qualifying in the entrance exams, candidates will have to face medical test and interview and after clearing those stages you will be able to join the Indian Army.
