Yes after completion of class 12 you are eligible to join Indian Army by following way

You should apply for NDA Examination which is conducted by the ( Union Public Service Commission ) .

To apply for NDA Examination you should complete 12th standard in any discipline from recognized board .

Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years and

You should be Physically as well as medically fit for the NDA Examination, ie :- Eyesight , Height , and Weight etc..

Female or Married male candidate are not eligible to apply for the Examination .

You should be Unmarried male candidate .

Paper pattern:
The examination consists of two papers, Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks) with objective-type questions.
The duration for each Paper is two and a half hours.

Syllabus:

Paper I- Mathematics
Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability

Paper II- General Ability Test
Part A: English
Part B: Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Indian History, Freedom Movement in India, Civics, Geography, Current Events

N.D.A. & N.A. Exam.(I), 2015:-
Date Of Commencement Of Exam:- 19.04.2015

N.D.A. & N.A. Exam.(II), 2015:-

Date Of Commencement Of Exam:- 27.09.2015

Of course I will provide you will all the necessary details step by step:

1.Introduction:

*The Indian Army
It is the land-based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India serves as the de jure Commander-in-Chief of the army while the de facto leadership lies with Minister of Defence, and it is commanded by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), who is a four-star general.


*The primary mission of the Indian Army is to ensure national security and unity, defending the nation from external aggression and threats, and maintaining peace and security within its borders. It conducts humanitarian rescue operations during natural calamities and other disturbances

#There are basically two ways, either u can go for an soilder or for an officer post

for recruitment of soilders Indian army conducts exams and recuritements every year
for recruitment of officer post UPSC conducts an exam called (NDA) known as national defence aceadamy

#Eligibility Criteria For Recruitment at various Ranks in Indian army:

1.MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND AGE CRITERIA:

(1)
SSLC/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 32% in each subject. No percentage considered in case candidate has passed higher qualification ie 10+2 and above.
17 ½ - 21 Yrs

(2)

Soldier (Technical)
(Technical Arms, Artillery, Army Air Defence)
10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. (simple pass in 10+2 with requisite subjects is acceptable upto 31 Mar 2013).
17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical(All Arms)
10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in Cl X or Cl XII with 40% marks in each subject. In case of graduate with Maths and English as subject in BSc, the stipulation of 40% in Cl X or Cl XII is waived off. In case of graduate without English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping, he should have scored more than 40% in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least once in Cl X or Cl XII.
17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Soldier Nursing Assistant(Army Medical Corps)
10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject.

OR

In case the candidate has a BSc Degree with (Botany/Zoology/Bio-Science) and English, the stipulation of percentage in Cl-XII is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Cl XII all
17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Soldier Tradesmen(All Arms)
10th/ITI (except Syce. Mess Keeper and House Keeper-who may be 8th pass).
17 ½ - 23 Yrs

Soldier General Duty (Matric Simple Pass)All Arms)
10th Simple pass.
17 ½ - 21Yrs

Surveyor Auto Carto(Engineers)
BA/BSc with Maths. Must have also passed 12th class(10+2) or equivalent with Maths and Science as main subjects.
20-25 Yrs

(8)
Junior Commissioned Officer
Religious Teacher(All Arms)
Graduate in any discipline. In addition requisite qualification in his own religious denomination.
27-34 Yrs

(9)
Junior Commissioned Officer Catering(Army Service Corps)
10+2 or equivalent exam and Diploma/Certificate Course of a duration of one year or more in Cookery/Hotel Management and Catering Tech from a recognized University / Food Craft Institute. AICTE recognition is not mandatory.
21-27 Yrs

(10)
Havildar Education(Army Education Corps)
Group X - MA/MSc/MCA or BA/BSc/BCA/B Sc (IT) with B E
Group Y - BSc/BA/BCA/B Sc (IT) (w/o B Ed.)
20-25 Yr

#The syllabus comparises of the basic subjects PCM( physics, chemistry & mathematics) along with English that is generally the syallbus of higher secondary.

To be a part of Indian army some of the simple steps are as;
1. Keep yourself updated about the various recruitments time to time
2. fill the online form
3.appear for the entrance examinations
4. If you pass the examinations you will be called up for medical checkup n SSB
5.If you stand proper and fit in all requiste criterias you would be provided with the joining letter.
