Re: Preparation for ICICI Bank GD & Interview
Some tips & suggestions which are useful while appearing for group discussions as well as personal interview for banks are mentioned below: Starting the discussion: Before opening, make sure to have some basic knowledge about the topic and giving the introduction allows you to begin the discussion from any point & set a tone for others to follow. Communication: Practice saying sentences to yourself & ask ‘Am I understandable?’ and do Speak slowly. Speaking fast will increase rate of mistakes. Listen: By listening to others, you can provide a new viewpoint, reply for a question or disagree with the other person`s argument. Repeating the same thoughts already said can be avoided. Do not sit quietly after your turn.Increase your marks through active participation in the conversations. Tips for Personal Interview Don’t begin with the phrase – Myself XYZ Getting into particulars about siblings and cousins –As Panellists only want to know about you, not about your extended family. Don’t quote – ‘making friends’ or ‘meeting new people’ – as a hobby. Don’t give justification for not knowing more basic about any specific subject. Be confident about what you speak. Be calm & collective & make sure you are well dressed. Try to be in control of things. Give a positive vibe to the interviewees. Do research on both the Job profile & the company. Ask relevant questions & Make sure that you are very much interested by involving in discussions. |
