Don’t worry I will let you know Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Entrance Exam (PGIMER Entrance Exam) details and eligibility criteria. Eligibility Candidates must have completed their MBBS from a university/institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) Candidates must have completed or due to complete their 12 month of rotating internship on or before December 31 for January session and June 30 for July session Candidates must be registered with Central/State Medical Council of India Exam pattern PGIMER 2017 will be a pen and paper based examination The duration of the paper will be of 3 hours The question booklet will have a total of 250 multiple choice questions PGIMER 2017 will be conducted in English language There will not be negative marking for any incorrect response Application fees a) Registration Fee: Rs.500/- b) Tuition Fee: Rs.250/- per annum c) Laboratory Fee: Rs.900/- per annum d) Amalgamated Fund: Rs.720 per annum e) Security: Rs.1000/- (refundable only after completion of course) f) Hostel Security: Rs.5000/- (refundable) to the deposited with the Administrative Officer (Hostel) if hostel accommodation is allotted Duration of Course and Emoluments The MD/MS Course has a duration of three academic years; during this period, the Junior Residents are entitled to emoluments as prescribed by the Govt. of India At presents, this translates to a pay scale of Rs 15600 - 39100, and a grade pay of Rs 5400/-; Non-practicing allowance is also paid as per rules |
