Osmania University offers LL.B courses having duration of 3 year as well as 5 years.

Eligibility Criterion
Applicants who have passed higher secondary examination in any stream from a recognized board

Applicants having a minimum of 45 % marks are usually considered for admission.

Applicants belonging to reserved categories require only 40 % marks as per the norms prescribed by Bar Council of India.

Age of Applicants must be between 17 and 20 years.

Graduation is the basic qualification insisted for candidates seeking admission to 3 year LLB course with minimum of 45% marks is required for admission.

Admission Procedure
Admission is based on Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET), taken by the colleges and Universities in Andhra Pradesh.

There will be a total of 120 questions in the examination.

The test contains three sections Part A, Part B and Part C.

Each question carries one mark.

Each section carries 40 questions. Part A will contain questions from General Knowledge and Mental Ability.

Part B contains questions from topics such as Current Affairs

Part C carries questions to measure Aptitude to study Law.

Final selection will be on the basis of scores in qualifying exam, entrance exam and submission of all relevant documents.

The entrance test is conducted in the month of May or June every year.
