Date of CET: May End, 2015

Declaration of Results: June 2nd week, 2015

Pattern of Examination:

The entrance test will be of two and a half hours comprising objective questions from the following sections:

(a) General Awareness and Logical Reasoning (30%)

(b) Teaching Aptitude (40%)

(c) English/Communication skills (30%)

Friend I would like to tell you Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Conducts Entrance Exam Each year for Admission to B.Ed Course Through CET - Common Entrance Test.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences with a Minimum of 50% marks in Aggregate from a Recognized University and having studied any one of the following Subjects:

English
Hindi
Sanskrit
Urdu
Mathematics
Social Science


Subjects for Exam :

(i) English Comprehension - 10%
(ii) Mental Ability - 20%
(iii) Reasoning - 20%
(iv) General Awareness - 20%
(v) Aptitude for Teaching - 30%


Exam Pattern :

The Test Paper will Contain 150 Objective-Type Questions in all.

Each question will be provided with four alternative answers marked as (1), (2), (3) and (4).

Only one Correct or most Appropriate Answer should be selected and marked on the OMR answer sheet.

Each question shall carry four marks;

There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer;

The Test will be of two and a half hours duration and will carry 600 marks;

The medium of the tests will be English only;
