Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a private university established in 1981in Mumbai. Currently, it offers the following programmes in Management: 1. Full Time Programs o MBA o MBA (Pharmaceuticals Management) o MBA (Capital Markets) o MBA (Banking) o MBA (HR) o MBA (Entrepreneurship & Family Business) 2. Doctoral Program In Management 3. Executive MBA (EMBA) 4. Part Time Programs o MBA (Part Time) o MBA (Social Entrepreneurship) 5. Specialized Programs o Management Program For Executives (MPE) o Weekend Family Managed Business Administration Program (FMBA) o Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship o Enterprise Training Program for Women (ETW) NMIMS Eligibility and Selection Criteria for MBA Programs NMIMS conducts it own exam, NMAT, for admissions to all the MBA Full Time courses at NM Mumbai and all the PGDM courses at NM Hyderabad and Bangalore. It is conducted in a window of 40-50 days during which one is allowed to attempt the exam three times. The best of three score is accepted by the institute for the final admission. The NMAT exam has a total of 120 questions. A correct answer gives 3 marks and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Section No. of Questions Language Skills 32 Quantitative Skills 48 Logical Reasoning 40 Total 120 Generally, the cutoff for a call for CD-PI for the Mumbai campus is about 210 marks. The cutoffs for the Bangalore and Hyderabad campus are about 195-200 mark. About 2000-3000 candidates are short listed and are called for a round of Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interviews (PI). |
