The Council of the Indian Institute of Science (IISC.) on Saturday Selected, as its 20th Director, Anurag Kumar, who is now the Chairman of the Electrical Sciences Division at the institute.

IISc.'s Present Director, P. Balaram, Retires on July 31 after an eight-year tenure.
