UGC -Networking Resource Centre in the Division of Biological Sciences at Indian Institute of Science , Bangalore is established in May 2009.

Activities of the Networking Centre:
Research.
Training and skills development of the faculty and research scholars.

Conducting periodic workshops and summer/winter schools

Capacity building by adopting and encouraging faculty

Hosting and facilitating researchers

Augmentation of information resource facility in the division to provide quality research information

Enhance and build state of the art in-house research training information/facilities in the biological division for the networking centre.
