Can you tell me about the Academic entry requirements for MBA (Master in Business Administration) Program offered by QUT Graduate School of Business?

One will complete the MBA (Master in Business Administration) Program offered by QUT Graduate School of Business with a workplace project that will offer them the opportunity to creatively plan for a new venture or to engage in a consultancy project for an organisation

Academic Entry Requirements

A completed recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 (on QUT's 7-point scale) and
A minimum 3 years full-time post degree work experience with minimum of 2 years relevant professional work experience and 1 year minimum supervisory/management experience
Submit 2 completed referee report forms

Additional Entry Information
One may be required to attend an interview with the MBA Director to demonstrate relevant work experience.

Work Experience
Relevant work experience indicates one will be able to contribute to class discussion. A minimum of 3years full-time equivalent professional or managerial work experience is required after the completion of an undergraduate degree.
To enable to assess work experience, a current curriculum vitae providing details of ones roles, responsibilities and achievements is required.

Referee Reports
One must obtain 2 referee reports on the referee proforma. Minimum 1 referee report should be from current employer. The referees may choose to send the recommendations directly to QUT (fax, email and postal addresses are provided on the proforma).

Pathways
Applicants may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a minimum of 7 years work experience.
Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a GPA 4.5 (or higher) one can clear into the Master of Business Administration.
