The University Grants Commission holding of the National Eligibility Test in JUNE for determining the capability of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Lectureship only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both in Indian universities and colleges.

No. Of Attempts
There is no limit for number of attempts to appear for UGC NET examination .

Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants have to pass any master degree with minimum 55% marks in PG degree from a well recognized university .
Age limit :
For Junior research fellowship course Applicants age must be in between 19 to 28 years.
For lectureship
There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age of Applicants is 19 years.
