MPSC is Maharashtra Public Service Commission it is a Constitutional Body established Under Article 315 of Constitution of India which provides a smooth and efficient functioning of the Government of Maharashtra.

Head office of MPSC is located in Mumbai. Its utility is to advise the government on the formulation of employment rules, promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions.

Eligibility Criteria for MPSC

MPSC board has come up with eligibility criteria that make it required for candidates to fall into the criterion.

Candidates who are not qualified will not be able to appear for the exam conducted by the MPSC.

Applicants are should be Indian.

Age limit of the applicants is between 19 to 33 years on 01 Jan of submission year

Age recreation is provided for applicants in the keep category like SC/ST/CT, physically handicapped, OBC.

Applicants must have a degree from a recognized university or board.

Applicants are physically fit is also required according to the standard of the MPSC fitness guidelines.

Physical Standard:-

For Male:-
Height: - 165 cms (minimum)

Chest:-
Unexpanded: - 79 cms
Expanded: - 84 cms

For Female:-
Height: - 157 cms (minimum)

MPSC Syllabus

Syllabus for Preliminary Exam: -
The preliminary exam consists of four papers i.e. General Knowledge, General English, General Marathi and General Studies.

Applicants who pass the prelim exam qualify for the main exam. In main exam, there will be six papers;
Two languages papers (English & Marathi) and four papers in General Studies.

The four papers are given below:-

•History & Geography (with reference to Maharashtra)
•Indian Constitution & Politics
•Human Resource Development and Human Rights
•Economy & Planning, Economics of Development & Agriculture and Science & Technology Development

MPSC PSI Exam Pattern

Here will be two languages papers of 100 marks each and the arrangement of the papers will of descriptive type.

The residual four papers will have MCQ, 150 marks each.

For two incorrect answers, 1 mark will get deducted.

MPSC is the abbreviated form of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

Educational Eligibility for MPSC is:

You must have completed your degree in Science/Engineering.
You must have a strong hand at Marathi Language.

Age requirements for MPSC:

Your age must be between 19-28 years.
Upper age limit is relaxable upto 33 years if you are a SC/BC candidate.

After fulfilling all the above eligibility conditions,you will be completely eligible to sit for MPSC Exam.

Structure of the MPSC exam:-

It has Two written tests.They are
1.Preliminary exam
2.Mains exam
If you Qualify in the above two exams and then you qualify for the Final Interview.
