Minimum Marks required for passing CPT

Will you please tell me that what is the Minimum passing Marks required for clear CPT?

CPT is the Common Proficiency Test. It is conducted by ICAI twice a year in the month of June and December

Minimum Passing Mark required in each subject

Subject Maximum Marks Minimum Marks
Fundamentals of Accounting 60 18
Mercantile Laws 40 12
General Economics 50 15
Quantitative Aptitude 50 15
Total 200 100

SESSION - I (Two Sections- Two hours - 100 Marks)
Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
Section B: Mercantile Laws ( 40 Marks )

SESSION - II (Two Sections- Two hours - 100 Marks)
Section C: General Economics ( 50 Marks )
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks )

Important Dates For CPT December, 2014

1. Last date for registration to CPT Course with BOS
1st October, 2014

2. Commencement of Online filling of CPT Examination Form
7th October, 2014 (10:00 A.M. IST)

3. Last date & time for Login Creation/Submission of CPT Examination application form Online
28th October, 2014 upto 5:30 P.M. (IST)

4. Last date for revalidation of registration for December, 2014 28th October, 2014

5. Last date for receipt of print out of online examination form duly filled up (PDF)
1st November, 2014

6. Date of CPT Examination
14th December, 2014 (Sunday)

7. Likely date of declaration of result
Around one month from the date of examination
