Re: Minimum marks required in CPT exam

CPT is the Common Proficiency Test.
It is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course.
ICAI conducts CPT exam

CPT includes four subjects
Accounting,
Mercantile Laws,
General Economics and
Quantitative Aptitude

Duration of test: 200 marks.

CPT is an objective type test paper.

CPT will be held twice a year: June and December.

Minimum Passing Mark required in each subject

50% of Total marks are required to qualify the CPT with 30% Marks in Each Subject

Fundamentals of Accounting 60 18
Mercantile Laws 40 12
General Economics 50 15
Quantitative Aptitude 50 15
Total 200 100
