For getting higher post like navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy , for appearing in Merchant Navy entrance exam you need to complete a Bachelors degree in Nautical Science or Marine engineering or mechanical engineering Mechanical or electrical engineering. For this you have to clear AIMNET Exam. Eligibility for the AIMNET Exam: Age: not more than 25 year Qualification : 12th pass with 50% marks in PCM subjects. In B.E/B.tech should secure 60% marks.
